✓  Art Appreciation ~ A fun group that helps prepare the students artwork for the art show in the spring. Cutting matts, labels & more.

✓  Art-rageous ~ Children's artwork is displayed throughout the school for parents to come & view. A quick craft is available, music & signing is available to participate in.

 

✓  Back To School Staff Breakfast ~ Show our staff some lovin' by supplying a bountiful breakfast on their 1st day back.

 

✓  Baking/Sunshine Committee ~ A group that comes together to prepare meals & care for needs of our Cucinella families when special circumstances arise.

 

✓  Bingo For Books ~ A family fun night of Bingo! The winner gets to choose a prize from a selection of lovely books donated from our library & PTO.

 

✓  Book Fair ~ Browse the amazing selection of books offered thru Scholastic! Kids are able to walk thru during their school day, create a 'wish list' but purchases are made when they return with their family after school or online.

 

✓  Box Tops for Education ~ Collect your Box Tops points receipts and upload the receipts to the APP to help the school receive money towards school activities.   Think of it as an extra fundraiser with minimal effort.   Click on the link to go to the website for more information on brands that participate.  BOX Tops for Education

✓  Clothing Drives ~ Collection of clothing & other items dropped off in the front of the school, usually held in the Fall & Spring.

 

✓  Garden Committee ~ Help keep the entrance of the school looking great! Care & maintain the pots by the front entrance.

 

✓  Globalympics ~ Help kids excel in their knowledge of geography with this wonderful self-paced program!

✓  Hershey Park Tickets ~ Discounted tickets available for purchase during a specific time period.

 

✓  Holiday Shoppe ~ A wonderful & fun shopping experience for the kids in the winter! All grades come thru & are able to purchase gifts for their family & friends. Gifts are wrapped & tagged then sent home with the children.

✓  Ice Cream Social ~ Come share in some delicious ice cream with all your friends! An event held after the walk-thru in the beginning of the school year.

 

✓  Library Helpers ~ Volunteer in the library! See the kids as they come in for the time with books!

✓  Room Parent Meeting ~ This meeting is an informal informational meeting for all Room Parents. Answering questions & advising of some of the programs, parties, etc. that happen for the classes throughout the year.

 

✓ Scholarship ~ The PTO provides scholarships to a select few WMCHS students.

 

✓ School Supply Kits ~ Order your child's school supplies & have them delivered right to their classroom on the 1st day of school!

 

✓ Silver Graphics ~ A way to show-off your children's artwork! Pick from a large variety of items on which your children's creations can be preserved.

 

✓ Snow Ball / Sock Hop / Hoedown ~ A Family Fun night for all to enjoy! This theme may change year to year but it's usually held around the same time each year (February).

 

✓ Spirit Days ~ Students participate monthly in a fun 'theme' to dress up & express themselves creatively. School spirit wear is worn on School Spirit Days.

 

✓ Spirit Sticks ~ An older program that we still have some stock available from. Fun colorful sticks to encourage students or to wish them a special greeting.

 

✓ Spirit Wear ~ Get your school spirit on! Tees, hoodies, shorts & more for sale! Usually offered in the fall.

 

✓ Spring Fundraiser ~ The Tricky Tray is our BIG fundraiser held in the spring.

 

✓ Spring Picnic ~ An event held towards the end of the school year. A fun time for the kids to run around with their friends, enjoy some games, food & entertainment. A family event.

✓  Talent Show ~ Children perform in our Cucinella's Got Talent performance!

 

✓  Boo Hoo/Yahoo ~ Come to a casual gathering to find out the ins & outs of what goes on in your child's day! A meeting for new parents to ask all of their questions & put their concerns to rest.

 

✓  Teacher Appreciation ~ A week when we show the teachers & staff at the school how much we appreciate them & all they do! Followed up by a big luncheon! Some things include door decorating, goodie bags, gift cards, etc.

 

✓  Teacher Grants ~ Grants are reviewed & approved by PTO members.

 

✓  Theater Week ~ A creative play offered to kids in 2nd thru 5th grade. They attend practice right after school for 4 days & then perform for their family & friends on the 5th day.

 

✓  Trunk or Treat ~ Decorate your trunk, carve a pumpkin or donate a ton of candy! A Family Fun night for all to enjoy.

 

✓  Yearbook ~ Join an artistic team of people that bring the fun of the school year together into a book of memories that can be cherished for a lifetime.

✓  5th Grade Celebration ~ All of the graduating 5th Graders at Cucinella enjoy their last big event where they can sign yearbooks, have some snacks, dance & laugh with their friends.
